Customer asked us to find a process to cure under-fill on a small PCB in ultra- high volume production.
Solution – Worked with the customer to develop a reflow oven with a special dimpled mesh belt to allow five ‘lanes’ of PCB’s to be cured at the same time.
Engineering customer required a method of inspecting inside a fine ‘honeycomb’ shaped metal assembly.
Solution – A combination of an OC White Trinocular microscope, camera and hi-resolution monitor along with a high powered, dimmable fibre optic lighting system solved the problem.
Electronics repair centre had difficulty re-balling BGA devices. Problems with residue and inconsistent sphere size.
Solution – Supplied a water wash paste with type 4 powder to print onto the devices. This was then re-flowed and washed giving a clean and consistent finish.
National Baker of the Year had difficulties in finding a suitable lubricant for trolley wheels inside the bake ovens.
Solution – A couple of the Biral special lubricants were tried and the ‘Dry Lube’ high temp. ptfe spray solved the problem
